Apple Blue Patisserie

Apple Blue is a cute little patisserie a stones through from Balham station. The head Patissier is a genius and makes the dreamiest cakes and pastries (make sure you try their Russian cake, thank me later). They offer both a weekend and weekday brunch which are both wonderful although my favourite dish features on the weekend menu!
Apple Blue has an extremely friendly vibe, it is the perfect spot for a catch up with friends, a meeting or even a place to set up shop with your laptop and work for the day. The staff are immensely friendly and it has a great community vibe. Shoutout to Thomas who always makes you feel so welcome.
It is extremely good value for money, both the weekend and weekday brunch is predominantly under £10 and trust me it is worth every penny and the trip to South London. It is honestly a hidden gem which needs to be celebrated as it is such a happy experience every time you visit.
Things from the menu you don’t want to miss out on:
The Apple Blue latte is unreal and is served with oat milk as standard - LOVE.
Cheesy hash brown, maple bacon, spiced ketchup, smoky cheddar, fried egg in a fresh English muffin which is £8 - absolute bargain!
Mayhem’s fried chicken, cheeky fried egg, Canadian maple syrup on Dutch baby pancake. It is £10.60 and could feed two, insane value for money and the most innovative take on chicken and waffles.
Finally, my ultimate favourite: The Real Apple Blue T - Brioche French Toast, salted caramel crumble, caramelised apple, roasted peanut butter and apple blue ice cream at £8.90 you cannot go wrong. Make sure to get there early as it sells out!
