Juvia Miami
Juvia Miami is a gorgeous rooftop bar on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach. It offers stunning panoramic views of both the city and harbour. It is open every day from 6pm (and earlier on weekends for their brunch) it is the perfect spot to enjoy the city.
With an extensive cocktail menu it was hard to make a decision on which to go for but after careful decision making I went for the Glamour and the Pineapple Expresstini. The glamour cocktail was potentially one of the most beautiful cocktails I have ever seen, with a rose encapsulated in the ice ball I was truly blown away and the Pineapple Expresstini is up there in both presentation (as seen with the flower) and is up there with my all time favourite cocktails in terms of taste. Every cocktail we ordered was just as good as the last, and I loved that the menu didn’t feature the standard ‘classics’ but instead allowed you to try something new.
Juvia also has a restaurant with both indoor & outdoor seating serving French, Japanese and Peruvian dishes which looked stunning although I can not comment on taste as I did not order, but the reviews look great. They also have a brunch menu which consists of 3 courses and bottomless belinis, mimosas or prosecco for $65 pp.
Service in Juvia is slightly questionable, whilst the staff were friendly I would say they were slightly frosty. They also don’t promote the happy hour menu, I only knew it existed when I heard another customer ask for it. When I asked for it she reluctantly gave it to me with the caveat happy hour was basically over (there was an hour to go) and that there weren’t many cocktails to chose from (there are around 6 for half the price of the standard!!!).
With that being said I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit, it is the most gorgeous spot and would be great for a food with friends or even a date night. It is not a cheap night out unless you get the happy hour menu which I believe is 6-8pm daily and make sure you ask for it! Despite its high price tag (cocktails are around $22 each not inc tax) it is so worth it. Please note the dress code is Miami Chic!
